Obesity & Weight Management
Select any of the links listed below for information and local resources. Although we have taken care in selecting this list, we cannot accept any responsibility for the content published by the authors. Please consult websites for up-to-date information.

Clinical Obesity is not defined by a BMI category, but rather based on the health impacts caused by higher weight. It is considered a chronic disease with complex biology.

Weight management is complex and difficult for most people. There are many factors beyond 'calories in' and 'calories out' that impact a person's weight, including genetically determined levels of hunger and fullness hormones, sleep quality, stress, menopause, and health conditions like PCOS and thyroid dysfunction.
