Flu-shots

The physicians of the West Carleton Family Health Team recommend that those at risk of contracting the Influenza virus receive the "Flu Shot" annually. If you want to read more on why you should have it, please read the attached article.

Flu Shot and Health Fair

The public Flu Shot and Health Fair that we have done for a number of years, will not be offered in 2012 due to MOHLTC cut backs.

The West Carleton Family Health Team will offer flu shots to our patients (from late October) until the vaccine is no longer available (early January).

If you are interested in having the flu shot, please contact the office for a flu shot appointment.

If you are not a WCFHT patient, and would like to receive a flu shot, please contact Ottawa Public Health for locations and times.
