Oasis in Kanata – Community outreach program and support groups for caregivers of people with mental illness (caregivers matter support groups)

Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre – holds meetings on a monthly basis if you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed or would like to meet other caregivers. They offer general caregiver support groups and support groups specifically for caregivers of individuals experiencing dementia-related disorders.
