Francois Cameron CCPA,CD,BDM
Francois obtain his Physician Assitant degree at the Canadian Forces Medical Academy in 2006. He as been working as a medical technician for the past 14 years prior to take the course.
He worked as a clinician, clinic manager and responsible of a physio department for the special forces from 2006-2009.
He is currently is a certificant with the CanadianAssociation of Physician Assitant (CCPA)
His special interest include, sport medecine, acute and chronic disease management, procedure and minor surgery.
Dr Amanda Connell
BSc (Chemistry) -University of Western Ontario, 1993
MD - University of Ottawa, 1997
Dr.Connell completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, and the Civic Hospital in 1999. She is Certificant with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
She has spent several years working in Locum positions in Northern Ontario and the Ottawa region.
She is originally from Britain (hence the accent) and now proud to call herself Canadian. She enjoys all aspects of family practise.
Dr Ewa Ciechanska
MD, University of Western Ontario, 2005
Dr Ewa Ciechanska received her undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary, in Cellular Biology in 1999. She went on to complete a Master's degree at the University of Calgary in Genetics.
She graduated from the University of Western Ontario's Schulich school of medicine in 2005. She finished her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, Civic campus in 2007.
She enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a special interest in low risk obstetrics.
Dr Jeanette Dionne
Dr Jeanette Dionne is originally from Nova Scotia and attended Acadia University obtaining a degree in biology and chemistry. She then attended Dalhousie Medical School and graduated in 1994. Her family practice residency was completed at Queens University.
Since then she has been roaming North America having worked in Kingston ON, Norwalk OH and Berwick NS before coming to this area.
Dr. Karen Ferguson

Dr. Ferguson did her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, and the Civic Hospital in 1999. She holds a Fellowship in Women's Health and Obstetrics from the Health Sciences North, 2000 and is a Certificant with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
She has a special interest in low-risk Obstetrics at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
Dr. Mark Fraser

Dr. Fraser did his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Hospital in 1983. He is a Certificant with the College of Family Physicians of Canada ( CCFP) and a Fellow with the College of Family Physicians of Canada ( FCFP).
His special interest are in Medical informatics, chronic disease management, health promotion and sigmoidoscopy screening for colorectal cancer.
Bridget Basile Ibrahim
BSN, MSN, FNP-BC
Bridget did her undergraduate degree in nursing at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and her nurse practitioner master's degree at the University of California Los Angeles.
She enjoys all areas of family practice, especially maternal child health and health promotion.
Dr. Michelle Lawler
BA(hon), MD, CFPC, FCFP
Dr. Lawler specializes in Family Practice Obstetrics at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and teaches for the University of Ottawa Family Medicine Department.
Dr. Kathy McBride
MD
Dr. McBride received her undergraduate degree from Queen's University in Biology and Psychology. She then attended medical school in her birth province of British Columbia at UBC. Finally, she completed her residency at University of Ottawa and liked the city so much that she decided to stay!
She enjoys all aspects of family medicine from newborn care to geriatrics.
Jessica Nooyen
Jessica’s coming to us from the Heart Institute’s Rehab and Prevention Centre. She is currently completing her MA in Human Kinetics with a specialization in Interventions and Consultation in Sport, Physical Activity, and Health. Jessica is our Physical Activity Counsellor.
Jessica was captain of the University of Ottawa varsity soccer team and a member of both the provincial and national all-star team. She also traveled overseas to play soccer at the International level with the Canadian Military soccer team. Born into a dairy farming family in Navan, ON, Jessica actively contributes to the family operation.
Karen Paquette, BSc. RD
Karen received her undergraduate degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in biochemistry/nutrition. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship with Capital Health, Halifax.
She began her career working with long term care population in Southern Ontario and later moved to Ottawa to pursue a career in outpatient education with the West Carleton Family Health Team (2007).
Dr. Lisa Rosenkrantz

Dr. Rosenkrantz did her residency in Family Medicine at McMaster University in 1981. She is a Certificant with the College Family Physicians of Canada as well as a Fellow in the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Her special interest include, obstetrics, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
Tatiana Serguchtchenko, RN(EC)
Tatiana graduated fron Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner program at University of Ottawa in 2007.
Her work preference is in disease prevention and chronic disease management.
Dr. Robert Stecher MBBCh, CCFP
Dr Stecher graduated from the Medical School of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1993. He received extra training in pediatrics and child health as well as respiratory medicine and then transitioned into emergency medicine where he worked full time until relocating to Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada in 1997. In Dauphin he worked at the Dauphin Medical Clinic and Dauphin Regional Health Center until July 2010.
Dr. Stecher was the medical director for two personal care homes and was also the regional chief of staff for the Parkland Regional Health Authority for a little over 5 years. He was a preceptor for the Department of Family Medicine of the University of Manitoba and helped to train the Physician Assistants from the Canadian Armed Forces.
His special interests include delivery of high quality and accessible health care to his patient population. He relocated to Ottawa in August 2010 and joined the Carp group in 2011.
Dr. Kristen Tonon
BSc, MD, CCFP
Dr. Kristen Tonon received her undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Biology and Psychology. She remained at MAC for medical school (1999) and residency in Family Medicine (2001).
She began work in Carp a short time later, where she enjoys all aspects of family practice.
Dr. Eugene Vigneron

Dr. Vigneron did his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, and the Civic Hospital in 1994.
He currently is a Certificant with the College Family Physicians of Canada ( CCFP), a Fellow with the College of Family Physicians of Canada ( FCFP), and is Board Certified with the American Board Family Medicine ( ABFP).
His special interest are in chronic disease management, health promotion and sigmoidoscopy screening for colorectal cancer.
Michelle Wasser, RN(EC)
Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Western Ontario in 1999. She worked at the Hospital for Sick Children in the NICU and as a Nurse Educator in ENT, General Surgery and Orthopedics.
She obtained her Masters Degree in Nursing at the University of Toronto in 2004. After moving to Ottawa, while working in the PICU at CHEO and teaching undergraduate nursing classes at the University of Ottawa, Michelle completed her Nurse Practitioner program in 2008.
Currently she works at the WCFHT and for Ottawa Public Health in Healthy Sexuality and Risk Reduction program.
